How To Cite Sources - Citation Machine

May 11th, 2008 · No Comments

If you’re a student at either a high school, a college, or a university, more than likely you have been asked before to cite your sources on your assignments and research papers. Writing citations manually takes too much work if you don’t exactly know what you’re doing and it’s pretty much boring work to do in general. Few months ago I needed to write a very extensive research paper on global warming and I wanted a quick shortcut to citing my sources. My search ended when I found this great web site called the Citation Machine. The site can generate a perfect citation in less than a minute for everything from magazines, books to web publications and encyclopedias. Both MLA and APA citation formats are available, along with the more obscure Chicago and Turabian styles.

My friend was writing his final essay for one of his college courses last night and told me over AIM that he was trying to cite all his sources and it’s been taking him far too long. Once I pointed him towards this citation machine, he was finished in about ten minutes or so. Thought some of you guys might be in a similar situation, so figured why not just post an entry about the Citation Machine!
