August 14th, 2008 · No Comments

Are you a fan of Ford Mustangs? I know I am! A few days ago I have come across this great blog, entitled Ford Mustang FAQs. The blog covers all aspects about Mustangs, everything from the latest news and interesting modifications. One really interesting post I have read on there was about how some guy transformed his Shelby GT500KR into an awesome rendition of the original Knight Rider Kit car. You can find that particular post right here: Shelby GT500KR Transforms Into New K.I.T.T. Another post that caught my interest was the one entitled, “Attack Mode KITT Mustang Revealed“. Can you tell that I’m a fan of K.I.T.T. modifications? Anyways, if you are a fan of Mustangs, make sure to check out more of the blog!

The Must Know About Data Recovery

August 14th, 2008 · No Comments

Save your files with data recovery

The best way to prepare for the possibility of a data loss is by always having a monthly backup routine of the most important files. If you are wondering how to back up your files, take a look my previous 4 Ways To Back Up Your Computer Files post, if you haven’t already.

However, this post isn’t about backing up hard drives, but about how to deal with dreaded data loss. Getting all of your files back can be a daunting, time consuming process, but it certainly must be done if you want to your files from the failed hard drive.

Basically, you have two options when trying to recover data from a damaged hard drive. One is taking your hard drive to a data recovery service and the other one is by using a data recovery program. Taking your hard drive to a service requires you to have lots of money on hand, while the data recovery program requires you to be very computer savvy. The other factor to consider is, how much time do you have to spend on getting all of your files back? Taking the hard drive to a service only takes a half hour, while doing it yourself could take hours upon hours.

Data Recovery Service
The odds are that if you have chosen this service, you will get almost every one of your files back. The accepted success rate tends to be around 75% - 85%. Of course, this all depends on the specialist and their skill and determination level. Unlike most computer problems, data recovery actually takes skill and not just clicking an icon on a desktop.

The prices tend to fluctuate in between companies, but that’s natural. It’s always a good idea to hit up a few recovery shops and go with the one that’s asking price sits in between the lowest and highest. You never want to go with the cheapest one, because that is just asking for trouble. You would never want to go with the highest either, as why pay ridiculous prices when someone does it cheaper? Such a predicament.

What about data recovery programs? I might cover that option in another post, if anyone is interested in reading about so. However, I’m sure if you would choose to do a data recovery manually with a software, you’re already computer savvy enough to know about the programs!

I hope this post have helped you learn more about the subject. Good luck with the recovery!

Snipe E-Bay Auctions Like a Pro!

August 2nd, 2008 · No Comments

Snipe E-Bay Auctions

If you have been using eBay for a while, I’m sure at one point or another your bid has been beaten by someone at the very last second, causing you to lose on the auction. People who outbid you in the last second are called auction snipers. They can be quite an annoyance, but there’s a way you can beat the snipers and that’s by playing their game. Not to mention, if you become a good eBay sniper, you can use it to win auctions more often at a far lower price than you would otherwise.

Sniping The Manual Way

Sniping the manual way ain’t that hard, especially if you have a lot of time on your hands (Like me). Basically what you do is you write down when the auction you want to bid on is going to end and then five minutes before it does you sit down at the computer and defend the item! Try to outbid the current winner with your bid at the last few seconds.

One thing you want to make sure though is that when you fire your bid shot, you set your maximum bid high. If you don’t, you will most likely be outbid by the previous bidder and the auction will just end before you can counteract.

However, just like in real life, you cannot win against an auto sniper without losing more money than you should or without some hefty luck. Auto sniper services can outbid you without any problems, because unlike humans, they snipe just a half second before the auction ends. The only way you can beat auto snipers is by clashing them against their own weapon.

Automatic Sniping (OMG U NOOB)

If you search for “Ebay Snipers” on Google, you can find plenty of online services that offer automatic sniping for a small fee. However, if you do not want to pay for such services every time you want to win an auction, you might want to consider getting a sniping software, such as SnipeRight or iSnipeIt. Once you decided on a program to use, you just set what auction you want sniped, what is the maxium amount you want to pay, and you’re set!

Hopefully this guide helped you understand how eBay sniping works and gave you some ideas how to go about doing so. Good luck with your sniping endeavors!

You Should Get Some Work Boots!

July 27th, 2008 · No Comments

Summer time is almost over and as of lately, it’s been raining outside almost every other day. One cannot just get away with wearing sandals anymore. I always prefer wearing work boots when I go out and it happens to be storming outdoors. Even if it’s not raining, work boots just feel comfortable! Especially when working on something in the garage or in the yard. I was looking through some web sites earlier today and I have come across Work Boots USA. They have many different brands of boots on their web site, including Converse, Wolverine, Timberland, and the list just goes on and on! Their prices are pretty sweet as well and they even have free ground shipping on orders over $50! If you’re looking for some boots to buy, make sure to check out their web site!
