Bullet Candy is an indie game released by Charlie’s Games for both PC and MAC. The main idea behind the game is to like, shoot and blow up stuff. A lot. You also get some power-ups here and there. I know, this is all very descriptive, but then what else could I say? It’s a really fun game and definitely worth buying.
However, I have to mention that the graphics are pretty rough. See, while the game looks great in gameplay footages, when you actually play the game full screen in a resolution that’s anything above of a Commodore 64’s, it’s quite noticeable. Anyways, the game is available for purchase straight from Charlie’s Games website or from STEAM for only $3.95, which is like the price of a bag of popcorn at the movie theater. Check out this gameplay footage I have put together of the game:
If the video seems too blurry to you, click the “Watch in high quality” link right under the video on YouTube’s page. Just in case you’re wondering, I used FRAPS to record the video and Adobe Premiere CS3 to edit the footage. This was my first time using Premiere and its snazzy, and revolutionary effects, such as “cutting the video” and “changing playback speed”. Quite an improvement from Windows Movie Maker, I say.
