Limited By Nothing

Dark, depressing, glooming soundscapes embarking through your ear canals, getting inside your consciousness and dwelling behind your brain for hours and hours upon entering. No catchy melodies, but only sound recordings from crypts, graveyards, and dust fields mixed with slow, dense cries and compressed sounds of panic. This is dark ambiance music for you. You might think that you have never heard music from this genre before, but you’re most likely wrong.

Dark ambiance music can be found throughout all action and horror movies, as well as in most modern video games. Ambiance music can really set a dark tone, a isolated feeling to a series of images and moving pictures. For a perfect example of what I am talking about, check out this great track by Lustmord, entitled “Immersion”:

If you want to listen to some quality dark ambiance music, you should check out Lustmord’s “Heresy” album. I also recommend checking out Digitally Imported’s 24/7 free, ambient radio station. I love listening to their radio station while working on the computer, and in fact I’m listening to it now! Ironically, just as I got to writing this particular sentence, Lustmord’s “The Place Where The Black Stars Hang” started playing.
